Volunteering

    Accommodation

For our volunteers, we offer an affordable home-stay option with a local family in the Pachaj community. The home-stay includes three traditional Guatemalan meals a day with a vegetarian or vegan option if desired. Volunteers are also welcome to participate in cultural events and Mayan ceremonies with their family when applicable. The host families typically do not speak English but are accustomed to accommodating volunteers who speak other languages.
